WoW Gold?

I'm not the person that likes to buy gold.  Even though it takes a long time, I'd usually much rather farm for it myself for two reasons.  The first is that so many people will try and rip you off.  You give them your money, and they may never show up with your gold.  The second is that it is so expensive.  I've been on several sites, and almost all of them charge over $40 for just 10,000 gold.  That's insane!  I can't imagine someone actually spending that kind of money on so little!  That being said, not too long ago, I found a site called Gameusd.com.  While reluctant, I needed the gold.  They're prices, to start with, were outstanding.  Prices are updated every 10 minutes, which insures that you're getting the best price.  They also have several methods of delivery, and their service is lightning fast.  My order was promised to be shipped within 48 hours, and I got just 3 hours after ordering it!  If you need gold, this is definitely the place to go to get it!

Best prices I have ever seen!

The Top 10 Greatest Villains Ever

I've been really bored today, so instead of doing anything productive, I've been reading people's top villains lists.  I've mostly been disappointed, though it could be because I'm not a huge Final Fantasy fan, which usually clears 2 or 3 spots.  Regardless, it put me in the mood to make my own, and so here it is, my Greatest Villains Ever list.

Note:  I will not reference a villain from a game based on a movie just because the villain in the movie was awesome.  That's just cheating.

10.  You - Shadow of the Colossus

In Shadow of the Colossus, you call upon a giant shadowy voice named Dormin to save your beloved from...well from being dead.  To do this, he orders you to kill the 16 colossi that roam the land.  You, being the love struck idiot that you are, go ahead and kill them all.  Only, oh yeah, Dormin happens to be evil, and was separated into the 16 colossi to seal away his power, and now that they're all killed, is fully powerful again.  Oops, my bad.

9.  The Absent Minded Prospector - World of Warcraft

From the first moment I started playing WoW, I loved it.  And then I hit level 15, at which point I got this quest.  At the time, I wasn't in a guild.  I didn't know anyone else online, and soloed everything, which made this quest impossible.  "But Araea, he's not a villain." you may be saying.  No!  He is!  He stole precious gold as I had to keep getting my armor repaired, and, worst of all, as I was off fighting these things whose only goal was to kill him, he was off in lala land, aimlessly pulling every living creature on the earth to me.  Then, as we near the end, with a trail of corpses in our wake, one last mob comes out of nowhere killing the moron.  Beautiful.

8.  Agent Ross - Red Dead Redemption

Ross is the short fat guy on the right with the evil gleam in his eye. Not only does this guy kidnap your wife and son in order to coerce your into killing the people who you grew up with and raised you, but he also seems like the kind of guy who kicks puppies to death and rapes small children.  And I don't really like those kinds of people.

7.  Lazarevic - Uncharted 2

This guy is not someone you want to mess with.  Not only did he kill 2 of his own men, but by the end of the game, he's nearly invincible.  He takes down in one shot what takes everyone else 30-40, and looks up to people like Hitler, Stalin, and Genghis Khan.  That, and he really is just scary as crap.

Well, that's all I feel like doing for now.  Tomorrow I'll go ahead and post 6-4, and then Monday I'll get to 3-1.

Ah Mountain Dew

I love Mountain Dew.  It's one of my favorite things on this earth, and I shall drink it until I die.  One of the other things I love to do: try new things.  If you can put two and two together, then you should realize that MD has created three new flavors for us to vote on.  Those flavors are:  White Out (citrus), Typhoon (strawberry/pineapple), and Distortion (lime).  Now, as of so far, I've only tried White Out, but believe you me, I plan to try the other two before voting starts on the 19th.  And now, because I have nothing better to do, here is my review on Mountain Dew - White Out:

The first thing that I noticed about this was the....weird....coloring of the soda.  It's white.  Or at least what tries to be white.  It comes out more as really really murky tap water, which my germaphobia cringes at.  On to the flavor!  It didn't occur to me until...well until I looked up the names of the flavors that I realized that White Out is citrus flavored.  Good ol' fashioned Mountain Dew us also citrus flavored, so I'm not really sure what kind of range they were going for here; if they were going for a wider range, holy cow did they fail.  As I drank it, I couldn't quite place what was different about it.  I finally got it though.  White Out tastes almost identical to MD, but it's not quite as cloyingly sweet.  I suppose that explains the full flavor name: White Out - smooth citrus. It is a bit easier to chug, if that's your thing.  Another thing I noticed after glancing at the ingredients list is that they left out the orange juice.  All of the other ingredients are identical to the original, minus the orange juice.

So yeah.  That's White Out.  The one I'm really excited about is the lime one, to be honest.  Knowing that it's Mountain Dew, it will most likely be delicious, but we'll see; it definitely has the best looking bottle out of all them, though it could be because I'm a fan of green MD.

Oh gracious, look at that "white"....it reminds me of bleach.....

New Twilight Book!?

It's true!!...sort of...What Stephanie Meyer has decided to do is write a short story, if you will, about Bree.  Remember her?  She was the newborn vampire they eventually killed at the end of Eclipse.  You should go check out her official site for the whole details here.  Now I know what you're thinking, "But I don't WANT her to write that, I want her to write Midnight Sun/continue the series/someone else's perspective". And I completely understand, BUT!  Think about what this means!  Stephanie Meyer has hinted since the release of Breaking Dawn that she would like to write AT LEAST 3 more books: Midnight Sun, a book in Leah's perspective, and a continuation of the series in Renesmee's perspective.  Why has she not done that then?  Because, after Midnight was leaked on the internet, she no longer felt like writing, and felt that she needed to take a break from vampires and just spend time with her family.  With this book coming out in June, maybe the break is finally over.  I'm so excited to think that we may finally get some more Twilight books, even if they aren't in the original Twilight Saga.

Oh yes, and guess how much the book will be?  20?  15?  Nope.  Free.  WOOOOO!!  The book will be release online for FREE, starting June 7 and ending July 5.  With any luck, she'll make it stay at least till the end of July so that I can get my hands on it after I get back from the missions trip.  If not, then thankfully, she also has a hard copy of the book that you can buy in stores, with a dollar of the proceeds going towards relief effort in Haiti and Chile.

Things to wear, because sometimes you have to leave the house

I love the days where I can just lay around all day in my pajamas and loaf around without so much as a shower.  Unfortunately, those days are limited, and for some reason, people in the real world expect me to wear actual clothes.  So when I happened upon the epicness that is splitreason.com, I was thrilled.  I love gaming shirts, but it's rare that I actually find a decent site, that doesn't look like a 5 year old designed it and a freshman coded it.  And while I'm aware that there are some good ones out there, all too often it feels like I'm sifting through a pile of dog crap looking for the ring that it ate.  Now, I'm completely aware that this site probably isn't new, and that a lot of people already know about it, but it's still refreshing stumbling upon it, and seeing all of the awesome new shirts.

The new DS?

Well, it's been over a week since my last post, and currently I'm working on a schedule that will (hopefully) go into effect soon, so I can start posting a little more regularly.  What's been taking up all my time is of course this genius right here.  I'm thinking about doing a full on review about the game, but you never know.  Originally I was going to do some story-esque posts based on my in-game adventures, but to be honest, it was way too much to put down for any period of time long enough to write.  Maybe once I get my hands on Soul Silver I'll write about that.

Moving on, Nintendo has officially released that there will in fact be a new DS.  Now, it wasn't too long ago that these awesome looking pictures surfaced featuring a larger DSi that came in dark brown and dark red.  Let there be no mistake, the new DS is not a version of these, but in fact it's own new console.

So what is this new DS's name?  The Nintendo 3DS.  Why? Because it has 3 screens that read brain waves.  Because the new DS screens will be in 3D, but without those awful glasses that never fit anyone.  I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this.  On the one hand, it will be absolutely insanely awesome to play a hand held console in 3D.  On the other hand, Nintendo has tried to do this before in order to boost up sales, and failed.  Hard.  But if there's anything we can learn from Nintendo, it's that for every terrible thing they create, something good usually comes right after it, so I'll be patient; either way something awesome is being made with Nintendo, we just have to wait see if it's the 3DS, or if this is just a precursor to something better to come.  At E3 in June, Nintendo will be giving out more information, so we'll just have to wait until then.

As I'm currently finishing this up, I'm now becoming giddy with the thought of all the games that I might be getting to play in 3D.  Zelda, Pokemon, Mario...and those are just the staples!  I'm not gonna lie, a 3D Pokemon game would probably one of the greatest games of all time.  Of. All. Time.  Now they just need to make a 3D computer Mac so that I can play WoW in all it's glory...  /faint

Fuzzies

A while back, the Blizzard Store introduced these two absolutely ADORABLE plushies of a baby gryphon and baby wind rider.  As if that weren't good enough, they also come with an in-game pet version.  Being a pet collector myself, I was thrilled, and searched all over the interwebs to find a picture of the in-game version, but to no avail.  However!!  Going back to possibly purchase one, they now have the moving pictures of what the pets will look like in the game, and oh my are they gorgeous, though in my opinion the wind rider is far cuter.

YouTube - Warcraft Themed Restaurant in China

YouTube - Warcraft Themed Restaurant in China

WHY DO I NOT LIVE IN CHINA?!?! I mean honestly, I think I can get over there "slight" communist style of running things, because, lets be honest, it's a WoW RESTAURANT!! More importantly, why do we not have anything like this in America? There are over 11 million WoW subscribers, are you telling me that that restaurant wouldn't make a profit? Lies!! If I don't see one of these by 5 years, then my life has come to nothing.

Being a uniquely-creative person (aka hoarder) I love to see when people use the crap that's sitting in the back of my junk drawers to make something that is so completely awesome that it makes my heart cry with joy.  Case in point, these Scrabble Tile Necklace's on Etsy.  They are absolutely gorgeous, not to mention quite funny, definitely something I am going to have to go buy.
